Welcome to Flourish Play Therapy and Counselling! 

 

At Flourish Play Therapy and Counselling, we are dedicated to supporting children and families in finding growth, resilience, and healing through a range of inclusive, evidence-based therapeutic supports. Our services are designed to meet children where they are developmentally, emotionally, and socially.

 

At Flourish Play Therapy and Counselling we offer a comprehensive range of paediatric counselling services tailored to the individual needs of each child and family. Please see information about our services below. 

Paediatric Counselling Support

​Supporting children to enhance their emotional awareness and regulation through personalised therapy plans and coping strategies. Using the Focused Psychology Strategies (FPS), we offer a range of supports including:  

 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) 

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) 

  • Sand Tray Therapy 

  • Psychoeducation

  • Relaxation Strategies 

  • Skills training

PLAY THERAPY

We believe that Play Therapy is powerful — giving children the opportunity to express themselves and heal through their natural language: play.

 

  • Learn to Play Therapy - developing children’s play and social skills. 

  • Humanistic Play Therapy - Providing a safe space for children to work through their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a non-confrontational and developmentally appropriate way.  

  • Filial Therapy (Family Therapy) - building and strengthening the line of communication and the relationships between parents and children through play.
